Festival ✺

What is Samichay?

Samichay is an intimate and family-oriented festival where concerts, DJ sets, conferences, and holistic therapies intertwine for three days of meetings and connections. You can learn more by reading our concept and program.

What areas can I find within the festival?

Inside Samichay, you will find:

A musical stage offering concerts and DJ sets spanning various genres (from trance to techno, from cumbia to downtempo, and much more).
An arena hosting conferences and seminars.
A holistic area for yoga, meditations, and more.
A bar and refreshment point.
A children’s area.
Camping area.
Caravan area.

Where does Samichay take place?

Samichay will be hosted by Tenuta Bellavista Insuese, a regional nature reserve that spans over 700 hectares and includes organic crops, lakes, and forests. The estate is located in Guasticce – Collesalvetti (LI), and the festival will take place on the shores of Lake Alberto.

I don't have a car, how can I get there??

We have created a Telegram group where you can exchange rides to the festival. People come from all over Italy, and it won’t be difficult to find a ride. The nearest train station is Collesalvetti FS, easily accessible from Pisa, Livorno, and Florence. The nearest airport is in Pisa, about 20 minutes by car from Samichay.

Is the lake suitable for swimming?

NO. It’s extremely dangerous to swim in the lake due to its muddy bottom and whirlpools that form even close to the shore. Do not approach or enter the water.

What time does the music and activities start and end?

The first activities will start at 4:00 PM on Thursday the 5th and continue until 6:00 PM on Sunday the 8th. The music will start at 6:00 PM on Thursday and continue until late Sunday evening.

When can I access the festival?

You can access from 12:00 PM on Thursday.

Are minors allowed?

Minors are allowed only if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Can dogs enter?

Yes. You are responsible for your pet and their interaction with others.

Services ✺

How does food and beverage work?

There will be a refreshment point inside Samichay, offering various dishes and sandwiches throughout the day. Vegetarian and vegan options will be available. There will also be a bar for beers, cocktails, coffee, and more.

Can I pay with card or only cash?

Only cash. The internet coverage in the area is almost non-existent, and electronic payments are challenging.

Are there showers, bathrooms, and other facilities?

Yes, you will find portable toilets in the camping and festival areas. Wooden showers are located in the camping area.

Can I bring food from home?

Yes, but the use of cooking fires is not allowed.

Are there any prohibited foods or drinks?

Alcoholic beverages can enter the camping area, but not the festival area.

Is there phone reception?

The internet coverage is weak, so it depends on the provider. There are spots in the festival area where it works.

Are the activities free or paid?

Most festival activities are free, except for the cacao ceremony, which requires a €10 contribution.

Do I need to book for the offered activities?

No, reservations are not necessary to participate in the activities.

Survival ✺

Is Samichay suitable for everyone?

Samichay is an inclusive and friendly festival. The activities offered are varied and suitable for different age groups.

What should I absolutely bring with me?

A tent if you plan to camp (or a hammock),
comfortable clothing and shoes for any weather,
a flashlight,
a water bottle,
an external phone battery,
sunscreen,
mosquito repellent (important),
gadgets, costumes, and anything beautiful.

Is there medical assistance at the festival area?

No, but the nearest hospital is a 14-minute drive away..

Is the lake suitable for swimming?

NO, it’s extremely dangerous to swim in the lake due to its muddy bottom and whirlpools that form even close to the shore. Do not approach or enter the water.

Camping ✺

Is there camping?

Yes, there will be an area just outside the festival area where you can set up your tent.

Are there showers, bathrooms, and other facilities at the camping area?

Yes, the camping area will have portable toilets and self-built showers.

Is the camping area shaded?

No, most of the camping area is exposed to the sun during the day.

Do I need to bring my own tent?

Yes. Alternatively, you can rent one of our glamping tents, but availability is limited, and the purchase must be made when you buy your online ticket.

Caravan ✺

Is there an area for caravans?

Yes, there will be a designated area for caravan parking.

Is the caravan area flat? Is it far from the festival?

The caravan area is on flat ground adjacent to the camping area, a 2-minute walk from the festival.

Are there additional costs for caravans?

No, there are no additional costs for caravans.

Can I pitch my tent near my camper?

No, tents and caravans must be in separate areas for safety reasons.

Is the caravan area shaded?

No, the caravan area, is exposed to the sun for most of the day.

Is there electricity?

No, there won’t be electrical hookups in the caravan area.

Ticket ✺

Where can I find the tickets?

You can purchase tickets for the entire duration of the festival on our website. Daily tickets will be available at the festival entrance on the day of arrival. You can also buy tickets at this link or contact us at hello@samichay.eu for an alternative purchase link.

Are there daily tickets?

Yes, daily tickets will be available for purchase on-site. You can check the prices at this link.

Are tickets refundable?

Tickets are not refundable but can be transferred.

What happens in case of rain?

We dance under the rain. Anyway, there are covered areas around.

Do minors still need to pay for the ticket?

No, minors have free access to the festival but are only allowed if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
